i'm havin as much fun as I can. House is empty til Sunday. I'm catching up pin my reading. Thought I'd try Capote...I must be crazy!

I haven't read any of Swannie's book, yet.
I guess I'm waiting till she's all through.

Our little town of Derry, NH put on some excellent fireworks last night!
The finale was like a war zone! lol!

I had fun too.

I was talking about her smut story, not her book.  It's a short story here, but you need a password.  OMG!  It's good.  I haven't read her book either.  I want it when it's complete.

Good Morning!

Well, here it is 7:30 in the morning, and I'm already BORED!! Not much new going on. I've already breezed through GALS (Swannie I need to go and pimp your post in the Gutter). I so hate it when Gerry goes under the radar, but at the same time, I am also glad he does. I hope this couple of weeks at home recharges him. Its been so long since he was home.

I will leave another ditty for you all to read. I really should get my arse back into my book, but lately I have been trying to clear off my 'to read' list.

OK off to get ready to take my mom to the Dr's office.

You've been away too long (same with the other ladies here!)!

Not much happening. Just getting ready for my camping trip with Sally, Wanda, Galen and Deivon (and Jack Butler McRover IF he gets here in time. He is listed as MIA right now.).

Have you ventured down to the SIWGWD area yet? There are a couple of quite 'steamy' posts there.

Hi Everybody!

I think we have all been busy. I thought I'd take a break and have a cup of Joe. It looks like it will be a long while before we have Gerry on the West part of the country... maybe a premiere this fall. I hope. He seems so far away. Deb, hug those jeans of his for me. Now I'm hearing not so good news about 'Rocknrolla.' I hope there will be a LA Premiere. If Warner's lets it go to a different Company, will it have a premiere? Let's hope for the best.

I saw that in a google alert this morning. I really have to get over to GALS and get caught up.

I have been way too busy lately and no free time to read, let alone post!

Right now, I'm trying very hard to think of a way to raise $7000 for my daughter to go to Europe next summer. She has been invited to participate in a People to People Student Ambassador programme. www.studentambassadors.org If any of you ladies can think of a way for me to accomplish this I'd appreciate it!

A psychiatrist was conducting a group therapy session with four young mothers and their small children. 'You all have obsessions,' he observed.

What's your obsession?

To the first mother, Mary, he said, 'You are obsessed with eating. You've even named your daughter Candy.'



He turned to the second Mom, Ann: 'Your obsession is with money. Again, it manifests itself in your child's name, Penny.'



He turned to the third Mom, Joyce: 'Your obsession is alcohol. This too shows itself in your child's name, Brandy.'



At this point, the fourth mother, Kathy, quietly got up, took her little boy by the hand and whispered, 'Come on, Dick, we 're leaving. Your brothers Peter and Willy are waiting for us.''
